YEA! Uncle Matt is Home!

We are all so excited and truly thankful that Uncle Matt is back home! Jay and Caleb just wanted to let him know how much they love him and how proud they are to be his nephews!!

Outdoor Boys!

Up until the last 2 days, it has been so warm and beautiful here. The boys have really enjoyed being outside. Jay wanted to show off the "Me-Maw azalea" and the new bed that we are making in the backyard. Caleb prefers the bright pink azaleas in the front. This pic. of Jay at the park is one of my new favorites!!

We realized that we did not have a picture of Daddy feeding Caleb! By the time we took one, Caleb can pick the bottle up and drink it all by himself!!

Easter Baskets!

After church, the boys opened their Easter baskets while mommy was getting lunch ready. They had a ball, but Caleb just wanted something to eat!!

Mrs. Emilie was kind enough to come over and take few pictures before church on Easter. We are so thankful for the family & wonderful boys that God has given us, but we are most thankful for the gift of Life that He gave us and that we celebrate on Easter!!

It's Summer...Where is Spring?

It was almost 90 degrees here today! We went for a visit to the "old" park this morning...we have such cute boys!! It's fun to watch them really start to interact and play together!

My Very Own Easter Egg Hunt!

Daddy & Mommy hid my masterpieces along with some other cool eggs with treats inside all around our yard & flower beds. I had such a fun time finding them all and then discovering which ones were filled with my favorite goodies!

"Mommy to Kiss!"

My poor boy has had a fever since Tuesday evening (this is Friday), the day that Daddy left for his business trip! He wants Mommy to kiss "it" to make it better...how I wish that I could!

No Peas, Please!

We've found the first thing that Caleb does not like to eat...peas! We are going to keep feeding them, though (and trying not to laugh at the "drama").

Six Months Old!

It's so hard to believe that our little boy is already 6 mos. old! He is such a joy--so easy going and happy all the time. Still no teeth, but we sit, roll and jabber a lot. He loves to watch the "loud kid" at play and sleeps from 7:30ish to 6:00ish, when he eats and may or may not go back to sleep for a bit. (Jay wanted to get in the picture, too, but as you can tell he does not feel well today.)

Time For Another Haircut???

We've been meaning to get Jay's hair cut for a couple of weeks. I made an appointment after he woke up from his nap today!!!

Brother Love!

Jay loves to hug on Caleb and Caleb is always trying to touch Jay. They are so sweet when they are "loving" on each other! Jay sometimes gets more than he bargained for when Caleb grabs a handful of flesh!! This may be an indication of things to come when Jay gets on his nerves!

Cute Boy's Tricks!

Ok, so I'm not as good as Sheila at catching Caleb "in the act"...I'm just lucky to catch him on camera at all sometimes! Anyway, he is still getting better & better at sitting and has now mastered the roll. He was on the blanket on his back and rolled over a couple of times to get off. He's already getting himself stuck in crazy positions and places!! Let the mobile fun begin...again!!!!

Daddy J. & Mama J. Visit Us!!

We all had a great visit with the Grandparents Johnston! They let Mommy & Daddy go away for a little while and the boys didn't even care : ) We also got lots of little projects & yardwork done, cars serviced, etc. while the boys went for walks, sat on lots of tractors, played outside, got a fish and read tons of books. We were so busy having fun that we forgot to take pics. with the digital camera!! Must do better next time!

Just A Swingin'!

We took Daddy & Shoobaba to the "different park with the ducks" today. Caleb got to swing like a big boy for the first time and loved it!!! Jay's favorite part is feeding the ducks & geese!

Shoobaba!!

Aunt Helen (aka Shoobaba) came to visit for the weekend...the boys had a great time with her!! They read books, played with Legos, went to the park and searched for "missing Oklahoma!"

Caleb loves to watch Jay play, and Jay loves to "show" him how things work! They both really enjoy playing with "Toots the train."
