New Backpack!

Jay got a new backpack...with a plane, a train & a firetruck! It was his surprise for keeping his pants dry all day at big boy school. He can't wait to take it to school next week!

Back To Big Boy School!

Jay started back at Adventure Land today - he's a Blue Dolphin this year!
The little stinker was so excited that he walked right in without even giving mommy a hug or saying goodbye (of course, I made him come back and rectify the situation)!

Driving Master Jay!

Jay has always loved meeting Daddy at the car and getting in with him after work. Now, Caleb has discovered the fun. He gets right in, starts "driving" and making car noises while Jay re-sets the radio, etc!

Things Are Getting A Little Hairy...

...around here! Daddy isn't particularly fond, but mommy loves Jay's curly hair after his bath. We didn't brush it down in honor of Shoobaba!

Humongous Choo-Choo Train!

Today, we took the boys to the Rogers Frisco Festival and rode the Arkansas-Missouri RR passenger train from Rogers to Springdale & back. They had a ball...Jay was sooooo excited! Caleb thought it was fun, but really liked chewing on his water bottle & keys!

First Bath Together!

The boys took a bath together for the first time and loved it! Caleb had a late nap & Jay had no nap, so they were both asleep by 8:00!

Playing With Mrs. Denise!

Our Parents As Teachers educator, Mrs. Denise, came to visit the boys on Friday. They love her visits because she brings new toys & books and does fun activities with them!

Silly Boy!

I just love this little boy! He loves to laugh & make everyone else laugh, too! He was cutting up while eating his yogurt yesterday. A couple of his new "tricks" are blowing raspberries on any exposed skin that he finds (or he'll pull up shirts to find skin) and shaking his head up & down to say "yes."

How Does This Thing Work?

Caleb loves the push-walkers that we pulled out. He's trying to figure out how to balance and not let it get too far out in front of him! So far, he prefers to sit behind it on his knees and move forward as he bounces up & down!!

Which Way Did He Go??

Jay goes so fast on the equipment that he leaves Ella's & Caleb's head spinning! They tried to follow him wherever he went, but Mommy picked a day that was way too hot last week. Everyone was ready to go home very quickly!

Jay's "New" Bike!

Jay said that he wanted a bike like the "big kids" in the neighborhood ride, so we pulled out his hand-me-down from Nicholas. He's so excited!

For some reason, he's not a fan of actually using the pedals yet!

Visiting That Fire Truck's House!

Every time that we drive by the Fire Station and see the door open, Jay wants to go visit the fire truck. So, we had an impromptu field trip on Monday with sweet girls Ella & Ansley! Everyone had a good time, but Jay was in AWE!

Writing With No Help, I Promise!

Here's a picture of Jay's first written word...all by himself! He was doodling around, writing "o, i, t, h, c", etc, when he scribbled and said "that's an M." So, I wrote the word at the top and asked him to copy mine! Pretty cool!

Ten Months Old Already?!?!

Caleb is 10 months old today! He had a great time at the pool this morning! His favorite things right now are anything with wheels, chasing Jay & making him laugh, & books with things to do in them. He tells us what the cow & elephant say, claps to "If You're Happy & You Know It," cruises from couch to end/coffee tables, & says "nah" with an emphatic head shake!

Happy Birthday to Daddy!!!

Friday was Daddy's birthday! He took to day off to spend it with us..the boys were both up before 7:00! James requested a Red Velvet cake, but Jay said, "no, I think he probably wants a green cake." So, since Jay helped make it, we made it green! We sure do love our Daddy!!!!

Why Do I Try??

I tried on Thursday to take a few pictures of the boys together...herding gnats would be easier on all!

Quickly, At First Glance....

Guess Who!!!

Goodnight, Caleb!

I just love clean baby, bedtime pictures!

Chef Jay!

Jay helped Mommy make Tea Cakes today...He rolled, cut & tasted!
