Neighborhood Festival!

Our neighborhood had a fun parade for all of the kids on Saturday, so we got a costume preview! Then we ate some yummy soups, chili & desserts. The rooster is our friend, Ansley Parker! And, yes, I'm cropping out Pooh's shoes for printed pics.

Fall Farmer!

Check out the hair! This boy is hilarious and growing up so fast. He tells you where his ears, bellybutton, and feet are (others are found only on us) and what noises dogs, cows & elephants make. He tries to imitate most everthing we do these days!

Checking On Caleb!

As soon as he hears that Caleb is awake, Jay loves to run in and "check" on him. This usually consists of peek-a-boo and throwing toys in & out of the crib! They both have a ball! (and they can't hurt each other...yet)

Rainy Day Cookies!

Wednesday was a yucky, inside day, so we made cookies for Jay to take to "big boy school." He had fun decorating fall leaves, pumpking & bats!!

Little Angels!

This is the way we go to church...after hitting each other, throwing food, not wanting to get dressed, getting dressed and then having ot go/going to the bathroom, etc!!!

Pumpkin Patch!!

Everyone loved the pumpkin patch! The hayride by Daddy was a hit and that little stinker, Ella, was so cute...we just had to show her costume!

Fun With Daddy!!

Yea! Daddy is home from his trip to Mexico. We had a fun Saturday going to the "new mall" to get pictures made, eat lunch & visit the fountain. Then, we went to storytime with the firemen at the library. After our naps, we went to the pumpkin patch!!

Crafty Jay!

Still not a fan of "real" food, Caleb prefers squishing his peas & carrots to actually eating them!

The Bohannon & Sharpless families came over for lunch & helped us celebrate! The kids enjoyed using up their cake energy on "that jumpy thing" (in Jay terms)! Jay & Ella decided to go ahead & nap where they landed.

Presents!!!

I finally got into opening presents...when that big kid was kept away long enough!!

Our Sweet "Little" Boy is One!!

So, he's never still for a posed picture, but that's part of being a one year old boy!! I turned one today!!! Look out, Jay...I'm gettin' to be a big boy!

Happiness is the left thumb in the mouth & the right hand playing with the belly button! This is the classic Caleb sleepy pose!! He is trying really hard to figure out shape sorters & Jay is wondering why Caleb is getting so much mail!

A Visit From Shoobaba!

Shoobaba came celebrate the boys' birthdays. Caleb got a cool set of musical instruments and Jay got a trip to B&N! Caleb also got his first taste of mommy's pound cake while she was here...he liked it so much that he tried to take a bite out of Daddy's mouth! Thank you for coming, Shoobaba!!

Ansley Parker Turns One!

Our cute friend, Ansley, turned 1 on 10/7! She invited us to her fun party, where she shared her new toys with Caleb and gave Jay a cookie with his name on it!

Home, Sweet Home!

Jay & Caleb have enjoyed being back home! Jay has been practicing his Mary Poppins moves, while Caleb has been flying airplanes and practicing with his new favorite walker outside. He pushes the tractor up & down the sidewalk and even across the grass as fast as his little legs will carry him!
