Studying & Waiting for Daddy!

Wednesday, I found Jay in his room reading his new big boy Bible. He said that he was doing his "study" for Awana that night. Friday afternoon, we had wonderful weather. The boys were eagerly awaiting Daddy and were so excited to see the USP & FedEx trucks delivering packages. Then, Jay said, "Look at the beautiful sunset, Mommy. God just pushed that button to turn it on for us." Yes, He did, big boy.

Christmas Cooking!

We've loved cooking all sorts of goodies this year. Mommy has had great helpers! We got together with 2 families from church this week (8 kiddos!) and made gingerbread houses. What a hoot! Yes, more candy was eaten than made it onto the housese.

More Days of Christmas!

Boys will be....clowns! Jay & Caleb are having a ball opening a present each day from Shoobaba!

And Now, There Are 15!

It's hard to imagine that just 4 years ago, there were 3 other couples without children from our neighborhood with whom we started building friendships. My how we've grown! Merry Christmas to some wonderful friends!

First Snow of '07!

Jay & Caleb were SO excited that it snowed and SO disappointed that there was not enough to build a snowman! They did manage to throw a few snowballs!

On The First Day of Christmas...

Aunt Shoobaba sent the boys a box with gifts for each of the 12 days of Christmas. Slinkies were first and were a huge hit! Jay also got 2 bloodied lips (to go with his already scraped chin and infected ears) when he tripped over the curb on the way in to school. Sad boy!

Cookies With Santa!

Our neighborhood had a treat on Saturday. Everyone gathered for a fun time with each other and with Santa!! Caleb wanted no part of sitting with him, and Jay told him about a certain flat-bed tow truck that he has been wanting.

Oh, Christmas Tree!

Jay was so excited to put the star on the top of the tree this year and to hang his ornaments. (Yep, we did most of it after Caleb was in bed!) The boys posed together before we went to see Santa and with Daddy before church.

Developmental Milestones!

Jay's drawings are becoming recognizable...here is a bulldozier with a "digger" on the back! And, Caleb...we've gone old school on him for hitting, pushing or otherwise bullying his older brother...to the corner with you!
