Holding A Miracle!

Finally, a picture of Mr. Holden that I can share! (I keep forgetting my camera.) He's almost 4 months old now and hopes to get off his oxygen after his April 2nd visit to the Drs at Children's. Thank you all for praying with us for him...the current prayer request is for him to start gaining weight again. It's been a few weeks with no change. Al & Cindy are so glad to have their family home together!

More Eggs To Hunt!

We had a ball hunting eggs with our friends...the Coffman & Box families...on Easter afternoon! These kids found over 200 eggs in less than five minutes!

Saturday Egg Hunt!

Saturday morning, we went to a new church down the street for an Easter Egg hunt. Lots of candy and both boys got a prize egg!

Picnic & Play Place!

On Saturday afternoon, we had our first picnic of the year...yea, spring is here!!This is the boys' favorite car track...round & round the big tub!

Coloring Easter Eggs!

We could wait no longer to color Easter eggs! (It's spring break, no school or Bible study and it's been raining non-stop for 2 days!) Boys had fun coloring and decorating with CARS stickers & Veggie Tales wrappers!

Do I Have Tractors On My Behind?

We are trying everything to get Caleb interested in using the potty. We got out the "big boy" underwear like Daddy & Jay. Looks like we need BIGGER boy underwear!

Easter Cookies!

The boys wanted to make Easter cookies to share with their friends at school. Their unit this month has been talking about The Very Hungry Caterpillar & butterflies, so that's what we did. First, they "poured & stir, stir, stirred." When the cookies were done, they made one for themselves first. Only then did the rest get done! Yikes...I've turned into THAT mom.

Shades, Tunes & A Model!

Jay & Caleb got new CARS shades for the summer and they have been a must-have accessory ever since. Caleb likes to walk around the house listening to their CD player! Jay & Daddy are STILL working on the model airplane that was started months ago...he says they were too ambitious the for the first try!

What A Difference A Day Makes!

By Tuesday, we were playing in the snow again! No wonder we can't all stay well! Jay's favorite question today: "Mommy, will you make me another big snowball that I can throw at you?"

A Couple of Beautiful Days!

It was so much fun getting to play outside last weekend. Temps were in the upper 60's! On Saturday, we all went to a park with play area, pond (ducks!) & walking trails. The trail was 1.8 miles - Jay biked for 1 mile & walked the rest. Caleb rode on Jay's bike for about a half mile and walked/ran the rest!! They were just glad to be in open space!

Jay was so excited that I updated his wall with recent masterpieces (didn't realize that I was slack on that...). He wanted to show everyone!

We left the kid's inflatable bed up in the guest room (aka "Dallas") for a while because it provides hours of entertainment!
