Memorial Day Sprinklers!

Sprinklers...it's officially summer!! Happy Memorial Day!

Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo!

We had a great time on Saturday at the zoo. Getting there early was the key...few people, the animals were all out and the temperature was great! Jay's favorite animal (depending on which time someone asks him) was the polar bear, while Caleb liked the big "efalents" best. They both would tell you that the zoo train ride around the park was the highlight of their day.

Let's Go To The Hotel!

The pool was FREEZING...they lasted about 15 minutes before lips & limbs were purple and teeth were chattering.
The Jacuzzi was much better to thaw out in!

Caleb did great on the inflatable mattress on the floor.
Jay thought that a sofa bed was the funniest thing he'd ever heard! Can you tell from the bags under their eyes that they are wiped out??? The hotel was a huge hit!

Oklahoma Aquarium!

On Friday, we set off on an adventure to Tulsa. First, we visited the aquarium. Both boys' favorite attraction was the shark tunnel. They loved seeing all of the sharks & fish swimming all around & over them (we went through several times). They also really thought the Otter was funny at feeding time! Now, Jay says he wants to be a diver when he grows up...

Next Up!

Batting second and almost as big....

Batter Up!

Daddy can't wait for the real games to begin...

Daddy's Home!

We were all very excited when Daddy got home from his trip! He had to lie on the floor, snuggle & play games for quite awhile. Later, we all went to "play" a little golf.

Outside Again!!

Caleb & Jay are sooo happy to be playing outside! They loved helping Mama J plant flowers & vegetables while she was here. Jay let me take one picture of him looking like a "puppy" after school and Caleb wanted his own helmet like Jay. They also said that their fire truck was really dirty like Mommy's car and needed to be washed too.

Blessed Mommy!

I got to have an early Mother's Day on Saturday! I am so thankful to get to be Jay & Caleb's Mommy! OK, so our self-portrait on Sunday left a little to be desired...

Gymnastics!

Jay has been going to gymnastics for several weeks now and really enjoys it. It's amazing what a change in his confidence we've seen already.

AWANA Awards Night!

AWANA is finished for the semester. Jay did a wonderful job - memorizing over 25 Bible verses in Cubbies! Caleb even went to Puggles with us on weeks when Daddy was out of town.
