Vacation Bible School!

Jay came home every day saying, "Mommy, I LOVE Vacation Bible School week...it it so much fun!" Mommy worked with K-5th crafts this year. Jay's favorite part was the opening ceremonies where all ages were in "big church" for singing, skits & silliness. He loved taking his offering to put in the "pond" for the missionaries. Caleb's favorite parts were craft time & playing outside!

Happy We Are Home!

We had a great weekend together. On Saturday morning, we went to the Fayetteville farmers' market, IHOP for breakfast, then to the Lake Fayetteville Park. Sunday afternoon was at the pool...what fun! Jay & Caleb thought it was neat to shell and eat the peas that we bought.

Parents Only!

Daddy J. and Mama J. came to stay with the boys while we visited Washington D.C. We had a great time together and saw a lot! Some of James' favorites were the Nationals game, Mt. Vernon & the WWII Memorial. I really enjoyed staying in Old Towne Alexandria.

We Are Thankful!

We are so thankful to live in this country where we are free to take our boys to church each Sunday and slip & slide in our backyard in the afternoon!

Extra Daddy Days!

Over the weekend, we went and picked blackberries and make our first cobbler of the year. Guess who are now fans of blackberry cobbler with ice cream? We also went to a new park, Lake Fayetteville, for hiking, rock throwing (imagine that), playing & a picnic.

Fireworks!

Jay wasn't impressed and wanted to go home for the first 3 minutes, then the oohs, ahhs & yeas took over. They both exclaimed over each & every explosion! At the end, when everyone was clapping, Jay stood up and shouted for all the hear, "Happy Birthday, America...I pledge allegiance!" Well said, son!
Waiting on dark at Blossom Way...
Mommy broke out the big bubbles and the chase was on!
I just love my brother!
Caleb got Jay dancing to the music.
Caleb's silly dance face!

Uncle Matt & Aunt Rachel Visit!

What fun we had with Uncle Matt & Aunt Rachel!! We hiked, did puzzles, played Legos (Uncle Matt doesn't like to see his creations destroyed!), colored and played football and wiffle ball outside! Thank you for coming to AR!
