Soccer!

Jay loved his first soccer practice...especially since he is on the same team as his best friend, Tate. Don't you love the cleats that he picked out?!?!

First Day of School!

Jay started back at AdventureLand on Monday. Of course, he loved his class! Can't believe he's about to turn 5.

The Train, The Train, The Train!

Then, came the event that Jay has been waiting for and talking about for 365 days...the train ride. First, the checked out the caboose parked in the park. Next, was our 2 hour round-trip ride to Springdale (approx. 10 miles). Mommy & Daddy always say "never again," but you forget a lot of agony in a year and both boys absolutely love it!

Frisco Festival!

We started off the day with the Rotary Club pancake breakfast, then some rides! Next came the Kid's Fireman's Muster...

Station #6 Got A New Ladder Truck!

The boys noticed immediately when a new truck appeared at our neighborhood firehouse. We called and the firemen showed them everything in exchange for Monster cookies! They made Jay & Caleb's month!

We Built Some Bears!

I had saved some Build-A-Bear kits for an out of school project...what fun! The boys loved helping sew, stuff & dress them. Caleb has George, the monkey, and Jay has Benjamin, the sports bear. They have been pretending with them comstantly for days!

Finally Fishing!

So it's been a little while since we've been on the lake! We went a couple of weeks ago and everyone had a ball and the weather was perfect. We were informed that the fish like getting squirted with water guns and love bubbles...they must because we caught around 20. Mommy caught the whopper!

Caleb's First Trip to the Dentist!

Caleb loved the crazy walls, video games & TV above his table with headphones at Dr. Rhodes' office! He did a great job letting them brush, floss and check his teeth, but putting the flouride gel on them went a little far! Jay was a big, huge boy too...letting them do everything that they ask him to do. We'll see how it goes with X-rays next time : )

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

On Monday, we celebrated our Daddy's birthday...he's just the best! Jay & Caleb had lots of fun making his card and Red Velvet cake, as well as "helping" him open presents and eat his cake & pie!

Our Artwork!

This was the view on either side of our bed...I say was because the number of works on display has doubled since this picture! Jay said that he wants us to be able to see their pretty pictures when we wake up. This is also what happened to all of my Scotch tape!!

These are a couple of Mommy's artworks for the summer...just so Aunt Rachel & Mama J. can see.

Grandmother & Nicholas Came to AR!

Thank you for coming to see us for a few days...we had a lot of fun!
