Jay's New Laughing Face!

As sometimes happens with youngsters, Jay has now adopted a "new" laugh & a face to go with it. He brought it out in full effect when Daddy J. said that something was "scrump-dilly-itious" last night on the phone!

More Park & A Little Air Guitar!

After we got home from the park, Jay wanted to sit in Daddy's car and listen to Jonny Cash's "Hey Porter." He thinks that's such a funny song. We caught him playing a little air guitar that he picked up from his Daddy!

It's A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood!

We took the boys to the park on Saturday...the weather was wonderful! (took lots of pics to try out our new camera)

Eleven Months Already!

Caleb loves to get ready for bed at night...when he hears the water running, he jets off to the bathtub and tries to get in! He's finally getting a little hair, but still has only 2 teeth (working on about 4 more)! He weighs 22.5 lbs.

Growing Up!

Our big boy is growing up so fast! He loves to spell words on this fridge phonics game, carry his own backpack to school and play old video games with Daddy before bed. He is generally hilarious!

We're All Learning!

Jay is learning to read and write, while we are learning not to question him! This morning, we were outside playing with sidewalk chalk when he ran off. He came back over to us in a minute and said "I wrote hat." I said "OK." He's written words like this before, but we've prompted him and helped him sound them out as he goes. When I was going inside, I realized that he had really written "hat" all by himself!

As usual, we can't get a picture in which both boys are even looking at the camera, much less smiling!

What About Me?

All of the boys went outside and left Caleb. He crawled over to the door, started banging on it and crying like his little heart was broken. Luckily, Daddy came and rescued him!
I'll just do it myself since I'm such a big help!
How many boys does it take to unload a dishwasher???

How's That Mocha Doing?

That was the question of the weekend! Mama J & Daddy J came to visit during the Labor Day weekend. Other taking turns being sick, the boys had lots of fun! Jay did not stop talking...at all!
